Sami Sadat, leader of the United Front of Afghanistan, issued a 15-day ultimatum to former Afghan security and defense forces currently cooperating with the Taliban, warning they would be designated military targets if they fail to leave the group's ranks.
Sadat made the announcement at the third joint Afghan-American veterans' gathering, claiming the United Front has gathered intelligence on former personnel now serving the Taliban, including pilots, engineers, and technical specialists.
He also stated that the United Front conducted 18 successful operations across six provinces in the past two weeks, and called on fighters inside Afghanistan to continue their resistance. He outlined a post-Taliban plan including a transitional period and a Loya Jirga.
