The Taliban's Ministry of Refugees announced that 322 people were released from various Pakistani prisons and returned to Afghanistan during the current week, including children among the returnees.
According to the statement, 309 individuals entered through the Torkham crossing and 13 others through the Spin Boldak route. The ministry provided no details about the reasons for their detention.
Based on previous reports, the main reason for the detention of most Afghans in Pakistan has been the lack of legal residency documents, with Pakistani police forcibly deporting them.
