Iran’s President to Visit Turkey to Discuss Terrorism, Regional Issues

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is scheduled to visit Turkey on Saturday, January 6. The visit is expected to focus on the fight against terrorism and the expansion of cooperation between the two countries

According to reports, the two leaders will discuss bilateral relations as well as regional issues.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will meet with their Iranian counterparts to discuss the latest developments in Gaza.

It is also expected that the two leaders will discuss regional issues such as the situation in Iraq, Syria, the South Caucasus, and Afghanistan.

During the visit, ten cooperation agreements will be signed in the areas of cultural exchange, science, media, transportation, trade, and economy.

The visit is seen as an opportunity to strengthen ties between the two countries and to address regional challenges.
