Signing the security agreement between France and Ukraine

French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourn says that the country will soon sign a bilateral agreement on security obligations with Ukraine.

Sejourne said at the hearing session of the French Parliament that the agreement will probably be signed soon between Emmanuel Macron, the president of this country, and Volodymyr Zelensky, his Ukrainian counterpart.

Macron was expected to finalize the agreement during his visit to Kiev this month, but he postponed the trip due to security concerns.

The agreement outlines a framework for long-term humanitarian and financial aid, reconstruction support and military assistance from Paris to Kyiv, according to the intelligence.

Reuters, citing some diplomats, reported that Zelensky could sign bilateral security guarantees with France and Germany later this week.
