Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, in his 18th report on the threat of the Khorasan branch of ISIS, says that this group seeks to obtain equipment from the warehouses of the Pakistani Taliban.

Daily Excelsior quoted the UN report and wrote that TTP got these weapons after the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan.

The Guterres report states that the member states of the United Nations are concerned about the proliferation of weapons in Afghanistan, the Middle East and Africa, as well as the use of drones and improvised explosive devices by ISIS.

Based on this report, the Khorasan branch of ISIS is looking for such weapons from the TTP, which has a close relationship with the Taliban.

The United Nations still considers ISIS to be the biggest threat to Afghanistan and the region.
