The government of Pakistan has welcomed the World Bank’s plan to restart commercial projects and transfer energy from Central Asia through Afghanistan to South Asia.

In a statement, Pakistan emphasized its country’s commitment in this matter.

The request to resume the work of this project by Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Pakistan, which are participating in this project along with Afghanistan, was made in December last year and was submitted to the World Bank almost two weeks ago.

In a statement, the World Bank said that based on a new strategy, it will begin the practical work of the Casa 1000 project.

But the World Bank emphasized that the costs of the construction of this project and its revenues will be managed outside Afghanistan in the future, and the Taliban government will not be involved in this matter.

The Taliban have not said anything about the World Bank announcement.
