At least 21 people died and 38 others were injured in a heartbreaking traffic accident in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
This incident happened on the morning of Sunday, March 17, in Gershak district, on the Kandahar-Herat highway.
Reports indicate that first a motorcycle collided with a passenger bus.
Following this collision, the passenger bus deviated from its path and collided with a oil tanker.
Ezzatullah Haqqani, the spokesman of the Taliban police headquarters in Helmand, announced the number of injured in this incident at 38 and said that the severity of the injuries of some of the injured was high and they were taken to the hospital.
