The Associated Press reported that Mohammad Seyed, a 51-year-old Afghan immigrant, was charged with murdering Aftab

Hossein, his 41-year-old compatriot, was sentenced to life imprisonment in a court in the state of New Mexico.

This murder is part of three cases related to the suspicious deaths of Muslims in the city of Albuquerque that occurred last year. Aftab Hossein was one of the victims of these shocking cases.

In the court session, Tharnwal emphasized his role in this crime by presenting evidence including the discovery of Mohammad Seyed’s mobile phone at the crime scene and matching the bullet casings found with the weapon found in his house.

The investigation into the possible involvement of Mohammad Seyed in the other two murders is still ongoing.

The ruling is the first of three cases related to the Albuquerque murders to be concluded and could provide authorities with vital clues to solve the other two cases.

With this sentence, it is hoped that a serious message will be sent to potential perpetrators of anti-Islamic motivated crimes.
