Border Clash: Pakistan Army Kills 5 Militants in Bajaur

The Pakistan Army reported killing 5 militants in Bajaur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

These insurgents, termed “Khawarij,” a label for Pakistani Taliban fighters, were attempting to covertly enter from Afghanistan. Three Pakistani soldiers also lost their lives in the clash.

Pakistan has urged the Taliban group to ensure effective border management, but Kabul has rejected these accusations.

Pakistan has recently witnessed an increase in violence, largely attributed to the Pakistani Taliban, whose activities are banned in the country.
