Bin Laden’s Son Allegedly Alive, Leading Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan
In a shocking revelation, the British newspaper Mirror reports that Hamza bin Laden, son of Osama bin Laden, is alive and leading Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan. This contradicts the 2019 statement by former U.S. President Donald Trump, who claimed Hamza was killed in a U.S. counter-terrorism operation.
According to intelligence reports, Hamza bin Laden, now 34, has been secretly reviving Al-Qaeda with his brother Abdullah. The group has allegedly established about 10 training camps in Afghanistan and is planning attacks on Western targets.
The report suggests that Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Taliban’s current Interior Minister, has been sheltering Hamza. One of Hamza’s four wives is believed to be from the Haqqani family.
Hamza reportedly spends most of his time at a terrorist base in Jalalabad, Nangarhar province. The Taliban leadership is said to be aware of his activities and regularly meets with him, providing security for him and his family.
The Mirror claims that Al-Qaeda, under Hamza’s command, is regrouping and preparing to attack Western targets. The situation in Afghanistan, with over 21 terrorist groups active, has raised concerns about the possibility of another 9/11-style attack.
This development raises questions about the Taliban’s commitment to cutting ties with terrorist groups and the effectiveness of international counter-terrorism efforts.
