Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for the U.S. presidency, defended the performance of Joe Biden’s administration in a Fox News interview but emphasized that her government, if elected, would not be a continuation of Biden’s. In the interview conducted on Wednesday, October 25, Harris addressed issues such as Biden’s mental health, her years as Vice President, and her previous support for gender reassignment surgeries for transgender prisoners.

Harris also defended the Biden administration’s decisions to repeal some of Donald Trump’s restrictive border policies and criticized Trump for preferring to campaign on problems rather than solve them. She noted that Trump had urged Republicans to reject a bipartisan immigration bill earlier this year.

During the interview, Fox News host Bret Baier repeatedly interrupted Harris, but she managed to convey her message to conservative audiences. Trump’s team described the interview as a “complete disaster,” while Democrats believed Harris successfully navigated a challenging environment and completed the interview flawlessly.

Brian Fallon, Harris’s spokesperson, stated that Harris was able to reach an audience that might not be familiar with her campaign arguments and demonstrated her assertiveness against a challenging interviewer.
