Attack on Sarah Sharif’s Killer in UK Prison
Irfan Sharif, the father accused of killing his 10-year-old daughter Sarah Sharif, was seriously injured in an attack at Belmarsh Prison in London on January 1, 2025. Two inmates assaulted him with a steel tin lid, targeting his neck and face. Prison officers intervened to save the convict’s life.
The attack was planned, and British media reported that the assailants inflicted serious harm on Irfan Sharif. Sarah Sharif’s body was discovered in Woking, UK, on August 10, 2023, just a day after her family had left for Pakistan.
Sarah’s father, stepmother, and uncle were arrested in September 2024 on charges of murdering the girl and were brought before a local court. They were remanded in custody and await trial.
