Afghanistan’s national football team will face Syria tonight at 9:45 PM in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifying matches.
The match will take place at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi International Stadium in Saudi Arabia.
This match marks the first official game for Afghanistan’s national team under the leadership of Vincenzo Alberto Annese, the Italian coach who began his role as the team’s manager about a month ago.
Afghan players have been training in Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahsa city for the past week.
Afghanistan’s national football team is placed in Group A alongside Syria, Pakistan, and Myanmar. The AFC Asian Cup will be hosted by Saudi Arabia, with 24 top teams from across Asia participating in the competition.
