Informed sources say Mullah Shirin, Kandahar governor, has been preventing complaints and corruption reports from reaching Taliban leader Hibatullah Akhundzada by controlling his offices completely.
He reviews and controls all requests before they reach Akhundzada.
Even a yellow container placed outside Kandahar province gate for collecting urgent public complaints has been blocked by the governor.
Sources close to Maulvi Rahmani, financial and administrative head of the Taliban leader’s office, have confirmed this matter.
Afghan citizens say that four years after the Taliban came to power, no significant services have been provided to people, and oppression increases daily.
Kandahar has become the main center of Taliban power during this period.
