Abdul Haq Wasiq, head of Taliban intelligence, claimed that centers of terrorist groups like ISIS are located outside Afghanistan.
He warned that if the international community does not pay attention to this issue, it will pay a heavy price.
Wasiq told Al Jazeera that ISIS has no real base in Afghanistan and recent attacks by this group are designed from outside.
He called reports of fighter transfers from Syria to Afghanistan “fabricated by intelligence agencies”.
The Taliban intelligence chief emphasized that Afghanistan itself is a victim of terrorist groups whose training centers are located outside the country.
He also claimed that the Taliban intelligence administration has been purged and arbitrary detentions have ended.
