Sources told Amu that internet services of the state-owned company “Afghan Telecom” are being suspended in all government institutions by order of the Taliban leader.
According to this order, government employees in offices will no longer have access to internet services after this decision.
This process has begun from the northern provinces of the country, and for at least five days, this company’s internet services in government offices of these provinces have been suspended.
This order has caused work slowdowns in government offices and some activities of these offices have been halted.
This action by the Taliban leader has sparked severe reactions and concerns among government employees.
The Taliban and the Ministry of Communications under their administration have not yet commented on this matter.
