Bobby Deol, the Indian actor starring in the upcoming series “The Ba***ds of Bollywood,” addressed the insider-outsider debate in Bollywood, emphasizing that success depends on hard work rather than industry connections.
The son of legendary actor Dharmendra stressed that his father was also an outsider who worked his way up.
With 30 years in the film industry, Deol believes both insiders and outsiders can make excuses for their failures.
“It’s easy to make excuses when you can’t achieve things,” he stated. The actor, who recently made a successful comeback with the film “Animal,” emphasized that only hard work and focus lead to success, regardless of one’s background.
Deol also laughed off the “Bobby 2.0” label given by media, saying that for his fans, he remains the same Bobby who continues to work hard and believes that dedication eventually turns into luck.
