Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey shared heartwarming moments from the 71st National Film Awards, describing how Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji displayed “childlike” enthusiasm.
He recalled: “Shah Rukh sir came back and said, ‘I am wearing the medal,’ and we all joined in saying yes, why not?”
The ceremony held on September 25 in New Delhi marked Shah Rukh Khan’s first National Award in his 30-year career .
He received the honor for his performance in “Jawan” and shared the Best Actor award with Vikrant Massey, who won for “12th Fail”.
Rani Mukerji also won Best Actress for “Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway”. The three actors helped each other wear their medals backstage, creating memorable moments.
SRK was seen helping Rani with her saree and hair, while she assisted him with his medal lanyard, showcasing their genuine camaraderie and joy.
