Kam Air airline announced that it may resume its flights from this afternoon, Wednesday, October 1st.
Mohammad Bashir, Kam Air’s representative in Kabul, stated in a video message broadcast on Afghan domestic media that the company’s flights have been canceled since Monday due to the nationwide internet outage in Afghanistan.
According to him, the last Kam Air flight was conducted on Monday evening from Kabul to Dubai.
Mohammad Bashir added that the flight cancellations have created significant problems for passengers, especially for those who had transit flights and are waiting for transfer to Afghanistan.
Afghanistan experienced a nationwide internet blackout from 5 PM on Monday, which also caused disruptions in telecommunications networks.
This outage has also caused international flights to Kabul to face disruptions and delays.
The internet outage situation has not only affected the aviation industry but has also disrupted the daily lives of Afghan people.
Kam Air, which is considered one of the most important active airlines in Afghanistan, hopes to provide normal services to passengers once communication conditions improve.
