Sirajuddin Haqqani, Taliban’s Interior Minister and Haqqani Network leader, traveled Saturday, September 27, from Shamid route in Gurbaz district of Khost province to Miranshah in North Waziristan for a secret five-hour meeting with Pakistani military delegation in Dandarba Khel area.
Pakistani military personnel imposed strict security measures and a seven-hour curfew throughout North Waziristan for his protection.
Acording to Zawia News, During this trip, Haqqani inaugurated a newly constructed madrasa and mosque in Dandarba Khel.
He was accompanied by Anas Haqqani, Waziristani poet known as Bandiwan, and other associates. Reports indicate that suicide bomber training centers have been reactivated with cooperation from Pakistani military personnel.
