General Upendra Dwivedi, Indian Army Chief, warned Friday that India will not show the same restraint it exercised during Operation Sindoor 1.0.

He cautioned Pakistan that if it continues sponsoring terrorism, it will be forced to reconsider “whether it even wants to remain on the world map”.

This warning came a day after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s remarks about changing history and geography if Pakistan attempts any misadventure in the Sir Creek area.

General Dwivedi emphasized that India is fully prepared this time and if Pakistan wants to continue its geographical position, it should stop state-sponsored terrorism.

Operation Sindoor was launched in May as retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people, resulting in over 100 militants’ deaths Indian military officials revealed that four to five Pakistani fighter aircraft, including US-made F-16s and Chinese-origin JF-17s, were shot down during the operation.
