ISIS Khorasan branch reacted to the visit of Amir Khan Muttaqi, Taliban group’s Foreign Minister to India, saying that the Taliban group has joined the “infidel front against the Islamic State.
” Amir Khan Muttaqi had said during his visit to Delhi that India and the Taliban group should form a joint front against ISIS.
ISIS said in an audio message released on Thursday that the front opposing them includes the United States, Israel, NATO and Buddhists, and the Taliban group has expressed its interest in fighting the “Islamic State” in this front.
The group also published part of Amir Khan Muttaqi’s speech in India.
ISIS Khorasan branch called the Taliban group “Satan’s army” and said the Taliban group fights in the front of tyranny.
Zalmay Khalilzad, former US representative for Afghanistan affairs, wrote that it is not surprising that this issue has deeply upset Pakistani officials and their supporters.
