Zabihullah Mujahid, Taliban spokesman, announced in an interview with Khyber TV that the Islamic Emirate does not support war with Pakistan and wants to resolve relations through understanding.
He said that “a number of special groups are trying to create hostility between Afghanistan and Pakistan, and these actions are carried out on orders from the United States.”
Mujahid emphasized that the Emirate’s leadership, especially Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, “out of brotherhood and human sympathy, has even paid compensation to the Pakistani people for Pakistani families who suffered casualties or financial losses during the conflicts.” He called this action a manifestation of respect for the “brotherly Afghan nation.”
The Taliban spokesman added that the Islamic Emirate has good relations with the people, scholars and some politicians of Pakistan, but some circles are trying to destroy these relations. He asked Pakistani officials to “act based on the interests and brotherhood of both nations instead of emotional reactions, because war is harmful to both.”
