Mohammad Ali Jan Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Border Affairs, Tribes and Ethnicities of the Taliban group, called Afghanistan’s neighbors “faithless and conscienceless” during a meeting in Nangarhar province.
Without directly naming any country, he stated that Afghanistan’s neighbors are very faithless and very conscienceless people.
The Taliban official added that some neighboring countries, instead of sincere cooperation with Afghanistan, interfere in the country’s internal affairs.
He emphasized that these countries are trying to turn friendly relations into tension and distrust.
These statements come at a time when Afghanistan’s relations with neighboring countries, particularly Pakistan and Iran, have experienced tensions in recent months.
