Nooruddin Azizi, Taliban’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, has traveled to India leading a delegation.
The Taliban’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced Wednesday, November 19th, that this trip aims to activate Chabahar port, attract Indian investors and develop bilateral trade.
The Taliban delegation is scheduled to meet with India’s foreign and trade ministers during this visit. Azizi is the second Taliban official after Amir Khan Muttaqi to visit India within a month.
This trip comes after trade with Pakistan was suspended due to recent tensions.
