Maria Corina Machado, Venezuelan opposition leader and 2025 Nob
el Peace Prize winner, appeared publicly on Thursday, December 20, in Oslo, Norway, after a year of living in hiding.
She received the prize for challenging the power of Nicolás Maduro but was unable to attend the award ceremony on Wednesday, which was accepted by her daughter.
Machado was last seen publicly on January 9 during protests against Maduro’s third term.
