The Daily Times has identified the Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) as the leading resistance force currently operating against the Taliban regime.

This assessment comes as the front claimed responsibility for a targeted attack in Kunduz on Thursday, killing two Taliban members near the Kabul Port area.

According to the report, the AFF has successfully executed a series of complex operations across northern provinces, including Badakhshan and Faryab.

These coordinated strikes have resulted in the deaths of eleven Taliban members in just three days, signaling a significant shift in the dynamics of the insurgency.

While Taliban officials remain silent regarding these casualties, security analysts argue that the AFF’s growing organizational capability is undermining the regime’s control.

The surge in guerilla warfare suggests a new phase of armed resistance is taking shape in northern Afghanistan.
