The timeless patriotic anthem ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ has been reimagined for the upcoming film ‘Border 2’.
Producer Nidhi Dutta describes the new version as a tribute to her father, filmmaker JP Dutta, and the armed forces.
Featuring vocals by Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, and Diljit Dosanjh, the song retains the soul of the 29-year-old original while adding new layers. The lyrics now reflect the stories of a new generation of soldiers and the families waiting for them back home.
Set to release on January 23, 2026, ‘Border 2’ stars Sunny Deol and an ensemble cast. The song’s release aims to evoke the same deep emotional connection that made the 1997 original a classic in Indian cinema.
