The Taliban’s ambassador in Moscow has expressed interest in purchasing oil, gas, and wheat from Russia, stating that trade could significantly increase if banking restrictions are lifted .
The envoy, Gul Hassan, also revealed that the Taliban is ready to send skilled Afghan laborers to Russia and that negotiations regarding this workforce exchange are currently underway .
In addition to expanding trade, both sides are working on establishing direct flights between Kabul and Moscow via Kam Air .
The Taliban views these growing diplomatic and commercial ties as a major achievement, aiming to showcase Afghan products in Russia despite the fact that Moscow has not yet officially recognized their government .
