The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has claimed responsibility for an attack on a Taliban recruitment center in Charikar, the capital of Parwan province. According to their statement, the operation took place on Thursday evening, resulting in the death of two Taliban members and injuries to two others.

The anti-Taliban military group reported that their own fighters suffered no casualties during the assault. This incident is part of a recent surge in guerilla attacks across various provinces, signaling growing armed resistance against the Taliban’s rule.

Security analysts suggest that the increasing frequency of these targeted strikes indicates the opposition groups are gaining strength. The Taliban’s inability to prevent attacks even in provincial capitals challenges their narrative of having established complete security across the country.
