Nooruddin Azizi, Afghanistan’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, led a high-ranking delegation to Uzbekistan today to boost economic ties. The visit aims to explore new avenues for trade cooperation and strengthen the commercial partnership between the two neighbors.
The delegation includes the Governor of Balkh province, Mohammad Yusuf Wafa, alongside prominent local merchants and industrialists. Their participation highlights the strategic importance of the northern trade route connecting Afghanistan to Central Asian markets.
During the visit, the Afghan officials are scheduled to hold talks with Jamshid Khodjaev, the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan. The discussions will focus on expanding economic collaboration and resolving transit issues to facilitate smoother trade flows.
