A UN official told Reuters that UNAMA has estimated the death toll from Pakistan's attacks on a drug rehabilitation center in Kabul at 143 people. The Taliban government had previously claimed that more than 400 people were killed and 265 injured in Monday night's airstrikes.

Pakistan has rejected the Taliban's claim about targeting the rehabilitation center and stated it targeted military facilities and infrastructure linked to terrorist groups. UNAMA said the drug rehabilitation center in Kabul was affected by Pakistan's airstrike and called for independent investigations.
