The World Meteorological Organization has officially announced that the period from 2015 to 2025 constitutes the warmest eleven years on record. Specifically, the year 2025 is expected to rank as the second or third hottest year ever documented.

The organization warned that the continuous warming of the atmosphere and oceans is accelerating ice melt globally. This drastic climate shift has led to severe extreme weather events, including intense heatwaves and heavy rainfall, causing widespread disruption and damage.

According to the report, the Earth's climate is more unstable now than at any point in recorded history. The rapid accumulation of greenhouse gases will have devastating, long-lasting consequences for hundreds or potentially thousands of years. #ClimateChange #WMO #Environment #GlobalWarming
