The Ministry of Public Works of the Taliban government has announced the successful reopening of roads blocked by recent floods in Panjshir, Takhar, and Samangan provinces. These essential routes were impassable for five consecutive days.

Heavy rainfall and devastating flash floods had severely disrupted transportation networks across these regions. Key areas, including Dashtak, Dalan Sang, and primary roads connecting Taloqan and Aybak cities, have now been cleared for public traffic.

However, the road leading to the Ruy Do Ab district in Samangan remains closed, with clearing operations actively underway. The recent natural disasters in Afghanistan have unfortunately caused significant loss of life and extensive property damage.
