Local officials in Kapisa province have reported a tragic incident where a mother and her daughter fell into a water well due to a sudden landslide. Unfortunately, the mother lost her life in the accident.
The head of the Taliban government's disaster management department stated that heavy rainfall caused the ground around the well to collapse. This heartbreaking event took place in the Mohammad Umarkhel area of the provincial center.
The eight-year-old daughter was successfully rescued by local residents but sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital. The recent continuous rains and floods across the country have caused numerous civilian casualties.
