Robert Busch, a 48-year-old independent funeral director from Hull, United Kingdom, has pleaded guilty to failing to bury thirty bodies. He also admitted to stealing the funeral funds that grieving families had intended for charitable donations.
Humberside Police initiated their intensive investigation in March 2024 after families expressed deep concerns about his questionable practices. During property searches, investigators shockingly discovered unburied human remains, including those of four miscarried infants.
Devastated families of the victims described Busch as an absolute monster and expressed outrage over his release on bail. The court has scheduled his final sentencing for July 2026, where the disgraced director is highly expected to receive a lengthy prison term for his actions.
