Continuous heavy rains and devastating floods in Nangarhar province continue to claim the lives of Afghans. In the latest incident, a roof collapsed in the Shirzad district, resulting in the tragic death of three individuals.
Local authorities of the Taliban government stated that this heartbreaking event occurred in the Gandamak village. Just a day earlier, six other people lost their lives due to similar structural failures in neighboring districts.
Intense rainfall has recently affected more than twenty provinces across the country. These natural disasters have completely destroyed over 3,600 homes and devastated thousands of acres of agricultural land, leaving many families homeless.
