Luna Drouze has become the fifth woman to publicly accuse former US Congressman and California gubernatorial candidate Eric Swalwell of sexual assault. During a press conference, she alleged that the politician attacked her in a hotel room back in 2018.
According to Drouze, Swalwell drugged her drink and assaulted her while she was unconscious. She emphasized that the traumatic experience has had a profound and lasting impact on her mental health, causing years of emotional distress and depression.
Her attorney announced that substantial evidence, including messages and witness testimonies, will be submitted to the police. Swalwell, who has suspended his political campaign following the mounting allegations, previously dismissed similar claims as entirely false.
