According to his relatives, the 41-year-old suffered from fever and breathing difficulties before his passing but failed to receive timely medical attention. His brother stated that despite urgent calls for an ambulance, adequate emergency assistance was never provided.
Paktiawal migrated to the United States following the events of 2021 in Afghanistan. While authorities claim he died in a Dallas hospital and deny withholding medical services, his family disputes this account and continues to seek full accountability.
