The Ministry of Justice under the Taliban government has officially declared the Omid Sabz township in western Kabul as state property. This major decision was made by a special court operating under their administration, affecting 1,500 jeribs of land.
Located in the sixth and thirteenth districts of Kabul province, the residential complex was previously known to belong to the brother of a former vice president. The Taliban government has now asserted full control over the massive real estate property.
Official statements indicate that after reviewing the documents, the court concluded the land belongs to the state. The property will now be handed over to the land grab prevention commission for further management.
