German media have reported that the country deported twenty-five Afghan nationals convicted of serious criminal offenses back to Kabul via a charter flight. These individuals were found guilty of crimes such as theft and drug trafficking, and were transferred directly from various prisons to the airport.
The deportation flight departed from the city of Leipzig and made a brief stopover in Trabzon, Turkey, before safely arriving in Kabul. German security forces closely escorted these individuals to the airport to ensure the deportation process was completed smoothly.
This sudden action is part of Germany's broader policy to resume the deportation of immigrants with criminal records. Previously, Germany had also deported dozens of Afghan nationals with criminal backgrounds through similar arranged flights.
