Local sources in Kabul report that a young man attempted to end his life near the airport road in desperate protest against severe economic pressure and prolonged unemployment. This tragic incident recently unfolded in the tenth police district of the capital city.
Eyewitnesses stated that the despairing individual identified himself as an engineering graduate from Kabul University. Before his tragic attempt, he expressed immense frustration, explaining that he had visited numerous Taliban government institutions seeking employment but had been repeatedly rejected and unable to secure any job.
Fortunately, brave bystanders at the scene intervened quickly and managed to save his life before it was too late. However, medical sources confirmed that the young man sustained severe burns during the incident and was immediately transferred to a local hospital for urgent treatment.
