The Taliban government has officially banned the use of smartphones in all schools across Panjshir province. The local education department communicated this strict directive to school administrators through social media channels today.
Under the new rules, teachers, staff, and students are strictly prohibited from using smart devices during both official and unofficial hours. This move follows a series of similar technological restrictions imposed recently.
Previously, the Taliban leadership banned smartphone use among government employees and security forces. Similar educational restrictions have also been quietly enforced in other provinces like Kandahar and Wardak.
