The United Nations reported that recent border clashes between the Taliban government and the Pakistani military have caused heavy casualties among Afghan civilians. These tragic events occurred in various border areas.
According to the quarterly report, fifty seven innocent civilians lost their lives between April and June. Additionally, three hundred and forty two other individuals sustained severe injuries during these violent cross border exchanges.
The data reveals that women and children are heavily impacted by this ongoing violence. Four women and thirty one children are among the dead, while dozens more women and children are listed among the wounded, requiring urgent humanitarian assistance.
