Iranian media reported that a vehicle carrying Afghan nationals overturned in Kerman province, leaving two dead and ten injured. The accident occurred on Monday morning, August 31, on a road 15 kilometers from Jupar Baghin.
Reza Fallah, head of the Kerman Red Crescent, said two rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. The two deceased were handed over to relevant authorities, while the ten injured were transferred to medical centers by emergency services.
Such accidents frequently occur along smuggling routes. Due to widespread poverty and the suspension of Iranian visa issuance, Afghan nationals are forced to enter Iran through illegal routes, which in many cases costs them their lives.
