An Amazon Prime Air cargo plane veered off the runway at Miami International Airport in Florida and collided with several vehicles, killing at least five people and injuring five others. Three of the injured are in critical condition.
Flight 7598 veered off the runway shortly before 2 p.m. local time on Sunday. The pilot and co-pilot were trapped inside the aircraft. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims.
The Federal Aviation Administration has launched an investigation into the cause of the crash. This is not the first fatal crash involving an active Amazon Prime Air aircraft.
