The Taliban Justice Ministry confiscated the assets and equipment of the Hazara and Shia elders public relations office in Kabul on Wednesday. The office is located in Mohammad Mohaqiq s house in Sarkarez area of west Kabul.
Taliban forces brought several vehicles to transfer the office items and recently detained several members including Sufi Gardizi the office head and two former parliamentarians. Families are denied visits and Sufi Gardizi who suffers from health issues is held in the personal detention of the Justice Minister.
The move has raised serious concerns over ethnic and religious minority rights in Afghanistan.
