The Saudi-led military coalition announced it has destroyed a Houthi missile depot in Saada province in northern Yemen. The Al Arabiya news network reported on Wednesday that the strike was part of an escalation in the coalition's military operations against Houthi positions.

This attack came hours after the coalition reported destroying a missile launch pad in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen. Clashes between coalition forces and the Houthis have intensified significantly in recent days, with both sides expanding their attacks on each other's positions.

In response, the Houthis have also announced that Saudi Arabia conducted 66 air and missile strikes on various areas of Yemen, including Saada, within a single 24-hour period. This figure cannot be independently verified but indicates the intensity of the conflict.

Simultaneously, the Houthis have continued their missile and drone attacks on targets inside Saudi Arabian territory. These attacks often target oil infrastructure and civilian areas, increasing tensions in the region.

The war in Yemen, which began in 2014, has created one of the world's worst humanitarian crises. The Saudi-led coalition entered the war in 2015 to support Yemen's internationally recognized government.

Despite international efforts to find a political solution, the conflict continues, and millions of Yemenis are grappling with hunger, disease, and displacement. The recent escalation in fighting has dimmed hopes for a ceasefire.
