Following the outbreak of war with the US and Israel, Iran has severely restricted internet access for its own citizens. Furthermore, using Starlink equipment inside the country has been criminalized, carrying severe penalties including potential imprisonment.
These explicit threats emerge as joint US and Israeli airstrikes continue to target Iranian infrastructure. The Iranian government has also strictly warned its citizens against filming or photographing the impact sites of recent missile strikes.
