However, the external affairs ministry refrained from commenting on whether the Taliban government had requested any defense or military cooperation following the cross border attacks.
The controversy stems from recent Pakistani military bombings in the Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar provinces, which resulted in dozens of civilian casualties. While Pakistan justified the strikes as actions against terrorist hideouts, India stands alone as the only nation to explicitly condemn the aggression.
